Isata's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 29-year-old Isata from Kissy Bypass Branch. She is a married businesswoman with one child the age of 9 years old who is currently attending school. She started this business to take care of her family.

Isata runs a retail business and sells fruits to her customers around the community. She has been in this business for two years. She says that her challenge is the increase in the prices of goods in the market.

She requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more fruits like mangoes, oranges, pineapples, etc., to increase her business. Isata says that the extra income from this loan will help to take care of her family.

In the future, she would like to expand to a large scale. She says thanks to BRAC and Kiva for their support.
