Julio's main business activity is repairing televisions, radios, DVD players and other electrical appliances. He acquired most of his knowledge in the field in an empirical manner, through practice. He also took some courses in technical maintenance. He provides his service in a street with a lot of commercial activity in the city of La Paz.
Julio lives in Alto Tacagua district, in his mom's house, together with his wife and children. His wife is a nurse and helps with the family's expenses. Julio works from morning to evening in order to cover his family's expenses and so that, in the future, he can buy his own home. He will use this loan to buy televisions, an activity which he is thinking of breaking into in order to increase his income. His knowledge in this field helped him to take this decision.
