A loan helped to buy fresh ingredients, cooking utensils, a food cabinet, plates, bowls, silverware, tables, chairs, and other supplies to improve her restaurant.

Natthamon's story

Natthamon is a 49-year-old single woman who currently lives in a small community in the western part of Ubon Ratchathani Province, Thailand. She lives with her elderly parents and supports her family by cultivating jasmine rice, weaving silk cloth to sell, and operating a small restaurant.

Natthamon started a restaurant in 2020 and sells noodle soups and local dishes as a way of generating extra income to pay household expenses. Her customers are mainly residents of the community. She opens her restaurant every day from morning until late in the afternoon.

Natthamon is currently looking to expand her clientele by introducing new menu options. She plans to add fried foods to her existing menu since many customers have requested them. Natthamon believes that this will enable her to earn a higher income and fulfill her customers' requirements.

She applied for a loan to increase her working capital and invest in her business. She will use this loan to buy fresh ingredients, cooking utensils, a food cabinet, plates, bowls, silverware, tables, chairs, and other supplies to improve her restaurant. With this loan, she feels more hopeful about the potential for growing her business and making positive changes.
