Elmer, age 41, has two sons who are his inspiration and strength to continue forward.
He has been working in cacao production for more than 20 years. He sells his products in mucilage and dry, offering them with good quality.
His great goal is to have good products, avoiding pests or diseases. For this, he is applying for his loan through Kiva to be able to do maintenance on his parcel of cacao and continue offering quality in his production so that his customers recommend him.
As extra work, he provides day labor services on other parcels.
He considers himself a happy, hard-working, and honest person who is quite a fighter for his goals and improving his quality of life and that of his sons.
