Nayeli started working with the loans from VisionFund Ecuador in 2019. She is now on her fourth loan cycle as she continues to invest in agriculture. Nayeli is a single mother of two children, ages 5 and 1. Her older child is already attending school and learning the alphabet.
Nayeli is requesting another loan to buy farming supplies, which have become more costly. In addition, she works as an assistant cook at a restaurant, so she has another source of income for repaying her loan. In the future, she plans to become a product trader in her area so that she can achieve financial stability. She also aspires to acquire a house of her own.
