A loan helped to nourish her coffee crops.

Yolanda's story

Yolanda is a 44 year old coffee grower. She is a single mother who lives in the North of Nicaragua. She has been earning a living farming since she was young, mainly caring for and growing coffee. This crop has become her main source of economic income.

Her plantation is 12.68 hectares of land, 3.53 hectares planted with producing coffee. She administers her land following Fair Trade and Rainforest Alliance criteria.

This year she has a nutritional plan together with the specialized technical team at PACSA, But in order to implement it she needs financing that would allow her to buy biological fertilizer, organic material and nutrients for the plants and thus obtain a higher yield with her harvest.

At harvest time she provides 10 temporary jobs in her community.

This is her 1st loan with PAC,S.A.
