Buena Vista Del Peñon Group's story

Elba is twenty-six years old, married, and is the mother of two children. She is well-known in her community as a person with integrity, hard-working, and honest that longs to work to improve the living conditions of her and family. She likes to visit the church on the weekends and spend time with her family. She wants to improve her living conditions and grant her children a better future.

She is requesting the loan for commercial working capital as she owns a convenience store in the house she lives where she offers general groceries. Thanks to the financing provided, she has been able to improve her quality of life making improvements to her living space and has started a business with her husband planting basic grains, which adds more to the family income.

Elba, due to her limited economic resources has decided to form a solidarity group with the following people: Zulmy, earns a living selling baked corn and Nicaraguan tamales and has a small convenience store; Neyling earns a living selling groceries and has a small convenience store in the house she lives in. Elba is grateful to Kiva and FUNDENUSE for the credit confidence and financial support given to her and, as a member of the group, urges the other members to invest and pay the awarded loans on time.

In this group: Elba, Zulmy, Neyling
