A loan helped to buy more fish from fishermen in order to resell and generate good income for his family.

Noe's story

Noe is a fishmonger living in Bobonaro Municipality. Most of his daily income comes from selling the fish which he buys from fishermen (in the photo he is prepared to buy fish from a fisherman).

He has been doing this business for many years with his own working capital. He is busy working at this business every day in order to earn enough money to support his family's everyday needs.

He has requested a loan of USD 1000 through KIF to improve and expand his business. He will use the loan funds to buy more fish from fishermen in order to resell and generate good income for his family.

As a result of this investment Noe hopes to run a bigger business in the future.
