A loan helped me to buy equipment for my business to meet increased demand.

Angeleduardo's story

I arrived from Venezuela in 2020 with my family and the dream of starting our bakery project. I started the WWBIC small business planning series but was interrupted by some very disastrous news.

My 12-year-old daughter Victoria was diagnosed with brain cancer. She accompanied her parents on this journey until last March. And now, I find myself in the midst of the comfort received from God. I have decided to resume this project to honor the promise I made to my family.

I am a professional, specializing in Administration and Finance. My passion is cooking and I have dedicated myself to learning about the world of gastronomy, leaning towards Bakery and Pastry. In 2017. I graduated from the European Institute of Bread in Venezuela, IEPAN, and immediately began internships in the production area soon after. I managed to merge the art of bread with pastry. In 2019 I completed a Diploma in Chocolate Science and Technology, specializing in Bean-to-Bar at the Central University of Venezuela.

Other certifications I also achieved. in the category "lievitati" products of the Italian gastronomic culture such as Panettone, Pandoro, or Colomba among others. Using the traditional Italian fermentation methodology, I received direct training from Master Baker Massimiliano Liberatore.

In addition, training in the Fisterra Method, which has its origin in Fisterra, province of Acoruña in Galicia, Spain, is characterized by the elaboration of the mythical Galician Bread. This training was given by Master Baker José Luis Estevez.

Finally, the most important of all is the training I have received, until today. It has been to understand that all the skills, gifts, knowledge and willingness are put first, at the service of God, and then, at the service of the community.
