A loan helped to buy additional yarns and threads for a weaving business.

Armando's story

Armando is a modest, hardworking man from East Timor with amazing skills and experiences in traditional woven cloths called tais, which is how he makes his living. His weaving shop, which he has been running for many years now, is well located where it is easy to find, and many people come to buy his weaving every day.

Running the business has made Armando independent and responsible for himself and also helps to support his family's everyday needs.

Armando would like a loan of $1,500 through KIF to help improve his weaving shop. He plans to use this loan to buy different colours of yarns and warp threads.

Armando hopes to expand the size of his business in the future, and wants to thank lenders for the opportunity.
