Buguma Group's story

Mme Elisabeth is a client of Hekima IMF and presides in the groupe villageoise « BUGUMA » ; She is married, aged 47 years old, and the mother of 6 children who are all students. Her partner is a merchant.

She is a food seller. She started this business in 2005 with the start-up funds that she received from her husband. Later, she got involved in the Hekima program to support her business, during which it gradually evolved. With this new loan, she is going to restock 16 bags of corn flour and cassava, which will reinforce her initial capital. The challenge of her business is related to the lack of customers.

She would like for her children to continue to study and feed her family. Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and their partners for bringing support to non-monetized business owners in the context of the global crisis related to Covid-19. The photo is only the leader of the group due to Covid-19 with respect to social distancing measures.
