Vestine is a 39 year old mother of 5 children between 1 and 14 years old. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past 13 years she has been selling foodstuffs.

Vestine is the leader of the group named Umutara Twitezimbere CB, which in English means “Let's develop ourselves.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses within their community.

Vestine will use her loan to buy more beans for resale within her community. She hopes the profits from her sales will allow her to buy cows to provide milk and financial development to her family.
