Jesus's story

Jesus is an experienced farmer who has been harvesting for over 33 years. He currently lives in Totoró, Cauca, where he owns a plot of land measuring two and a half hectares, which he purchased at the age of 24. On his land, he cultivates over 11,000 coffee plants, along with 200 plantain trees and a small batch of yuca crops.

Jesus has developed a unique planting technique that has significantly contributed to the growth of his business. Currently, he gathers his harvest with the help of two individuals and ensures to fertilize the land after each harvest. He sells his crops to various local distributors, maintaining a stable income for his family.

Jesus lives with his wife and three children in a house they bought together five years ago. His wife is a great support in maintaining the crops and collecting the coffee during harvest season.
