A loan helped a member to buy fertilizer for her coffee farm.

Ang Nua 92 Group's story

Um is an ethnic minority woman, who lives in Ang Nua commune in Dien Bien province, one of the poorest provinces in Vietnam. Living in a rural village, her main income comes from agricultural activities. Her big family must cover its many expenses, but she is very happy to live with all her family members.

With about 12 years' experience in cultivating coffee, she believes in her capacity to grow coffee trees. That is the reason why she took this loan to invest in buying fertilizer for coffee trees to increase productivity. Due to her extensive experience, she knows the buyers and can sell coffee at a good price. She plans to use the profit to buy pigs to expand her business.

All her family members are healthy, which is the thing that makes her feel happy. In this photo, she stands on the right with a pink coat. This loan from Kiva lenders is a great support for her life.
