The "La Rosa De Guadalupe" Group is made up of women who are small business owners looking to improve their quality of life. Living standards are at a low level in the community where they are located . Through their businesses they hope to obtain resources to invest and expand their business.
This is the case for Elvira, aged 74who has 8 children of which 1 is her dependent. She has a low cost food business and with it she is able to generate an income for herself and her family. Every day she reviews the expiry date of products to make a list of items to buy. She goes to the market for dairy products, meats, vegetables so that she can sell fresh products. Elvira hopes to buy more tables and to fit air conditioning in her shop to expand the business.
The members of the group are Paola, Margarita, Concepción, María, Ana and Adela who hope to grow their business using the loan.
