Lydia's story

Lydia is 30 years old, a mother with one kid. They are living together with her partner. Her child is presently attending school while living at home. Lydia attended school up to 12th grade.

She owns a business selling pepper, salt, rice, tomatoes, okra and other items. Lydia has been a strong businesswoman for the past 12 years. She started the business with her savings and sells Monday through Saturday. She uses a car or bike to transport supplies to her business site.

Lydia has applied for a loan with BRAC Liberia. The loan will be used to buy more pepper, salt, rice, tomatoes, okra and other items to sell to her good clients. Her dream for the future is to own a house. Lydia is grateful for the financial support from the funders that will boost her business.
