A loan helped to give the nutritional maintenance to his coffee crops.

Juan Pablo's story

Juan is a 51-year-old coffee producer. He is charismatic and with great desires to improve. He operates a farm of 5.63 hectares, of which 3.52 are of productive coffee which he manages under the criteria of the Fair Trade certification and Rainforest Alliance.

He has over 6 years of experience in this trade, and the energy to overcome new adversities that come with every cycle.

This year he is requesting a loan to buy vegetative material, pay for labor and others, to rehabilitate 1.05 hectares of new coffee plants. The return on investment will be seen in the second year and will improve his and his family’s incomes.

During the coffee season, he provides 10 jobs in his community. This is the 12th loan he gets from PACSA.
