A loan helped a member to stock up on cement and cardboard boxes, which will increase her starting capital.

Light Group's story

Mrs. Patience is a client of IMF Hekima and presides over the groupe villageois “LIGHT.” She is a 39-year-old married mother of five, all of whom go to school. Her partner is a retail trader.

She sells hardware products, a business she started 12 years ago with funds received from her husband. Later, she incorporated the Hekima program to support her business, which progressively grew. With this new loan, she is going to stock up on cement and cardboard boxes, which will increase her starting capital. The challenge in her business is linked to lack of customers.

She would like for her children to continue their studies and for her to grow her business. At last, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for their support of unmonetizable business owners during this global crisis linked to COVID-19. The photo is of only the group leader because of COVID-19 out of respect for social distancing measures.
