A loan helped to purchase the ACE One hybrid energy system for cooking, lighting and charging in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Majobo's story

Majobo is a 38 year old woman who lives in a multi-bedroom house, without access to electricity, with five other family members including three children. Majobo works as an operator but struggles with buying multiple fuels. She spends most of her energy expenses on LPG, paraffin and wood, which costs up to LSL425 per month. She also spends as much as two hours per day, gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone charging.

Majobo is buying the ACE One cookstove to help her and her family save the money spent every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE One clean cook-stove is biomass and solar-powered. For more information on the ACE one cook stove please visit www.africancleanenergy.com and Facebook @AfricanCleanEnergy
