A loan helped a member to maintain her cocoa plot and improve its productivity so that her customers are satisfied.

Crediplus De Mayapo Group's story

The communal bank Crediplus de Mayapo is in its 15th lending cycle. It is a group comprised of 11 members—in the picture, only members of the board of directors are shown (president, treasurer and secretary) due to the pandemic. They are happy to continue as a team that is working for a better future.

Rina, 40 years old, is single and has a 15-year-old son. She considers herself a hard-working and enterprising woman. She has had her business in cocoa and citrus agriculture for 5 years. That is why the biggest challenge for her is to have a good production annually.

Her biggest dream is to have more cocoa crops. In addition to this business, her other source of income is working as a day laborer in his spare time. She will use the Kiva loan to maintain her cocoa plot and improve her productivity so that her clients are satisfied, and with the extra profit invest in her son's education, as well as in her plot.

In this group: Misael , Angela Jazmin, Elifilit , Rosmilina , Inosencio , Salome , Rita , Maria , Elizabeth Charo, Rina Maria, Doris
