Carlos is a young student in the architecture program at UPC (Peruvian University of Applied Sciences). He lives with his parents. His father is a teacher at UPN (Northern Private University) and his mother is a homemaker. He is the youngest child and the only one to get a higher education.
He studied architecture because it is a career that has caught his attention since he was small. It allows him to apply not only his intellectual consciousness but also his creativit, and reasoning to give sense to his architectural ideas to improve the country. He is in his ninth cycle and spends many hours each day studying. At the end of his degree, he will work in architectural studies, starting with blueprint development or as an architect on site.
He would like this loan in order to be able to pay for his university studies. Starting his adult life is a stage that he is excited for. He would like to grow as an architect. All the time dedicated to his studies is an accomplished goal.
His biggest dream is to be a nationally known architect, supporting his family financially and designing homes that improve the quality of life for Peruvians.
The problems that he has in his life are lack of time and financial limits.
Carlos feels thankful for Kiva's support because not everyone in the world is willing to be generous and help students reach their goals. He would like to tell the lenders that what they do is admirable and that their contributions change the lives of many students and families. Thanks to to them, they can succeed, get ahead, and achieve their goals.
