A loan helped to buy materials such as thread and yarn to continue embroidering her blankets.

Alma Isabel's story

Alma is 44 years old; she has a high school education. She is currently married and has 2 children ages 15 and 13; she lives with her husband and children.

Alma is in the business of making and selling embroidered blankets. She has to walk 800 meters to get to her place of work, and her working hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm.

She will use the loan to buy materials such as thread and yarn to continue embroidering her blankets, which she hopes will increase her income since there is a demand from the villagers.

Alma dreams of increasing her blanket sales in order to increase her income and thus be able to provide a better quality of life for her family.
