La Rosa De Guadalupe Group's story

This committee is called “La Rosa De Guadalupe”. It was started some years ago and is now in it's 6th loan cycle with the Women's Committee program. They all look for a way to improve their quality of living and that of their loved ones. They are also participating in the Poverty Elimination program.

Maria Leonidas is a member of this committee. She earns a living sewing. She has a modest workshop where she works every day from early in the morning. She is a very hard-working person who strives to help her family and provide them with a dignified life with all they need and not have to face hardships.

She comment's that she decided to join the group to receive training and see a way to invest in her business so she can improve and help her family.

She is requesting this loan to buy material for her business like fabric, thread, elastic and buttons amongst other materials so she can continue with her work.
