A loan helped to buy additional stuff like different colours of yarns and/or warp threads.

Agustinha's story

Agustinha is modest, hardworking, 53 years old, and married. She has amazing skill and experience with making East Timor traditional woven cloths called tais, and she makes a living from this.

Her weaving shop, which she has been running for many years now, is well located where it is easy to find, and many people come to buy her weaving every day. Running the business has made Agustinha independent because she can be responsible for herself and help support her family's everyday needs.

She would like a loan of 1,500 USD through KIF to help improve her weaving shop. She plans to use this loan to buy additional stuff like different colours of yarns and/or warp threads.

Agustinha hopes to expand the size of her business in the future, and wants to thank lenders for the opportunity.
