Marie Claire is a 61-year-old mother of four children aged between 16 and 33 years old. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past seven years, she has been selling foodstuffs.

Marie Claire is the leader of the group named Twubake Zamuka, which means “let's build ourselves" in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Marie Claire will use her loan to buy more bananas, plantains, maize, and beans to sell in her community so that she can meet customer demand. With the profit she hopes to earn from her sales, she hopes to be able to furnish her house.

Marie Claire is grateful for the support of the lenders.
