A loan helped to pay for chicken feed and more day-old chicks.

Felicitas's story

This is Felicitas; she is 48 years old and married. She loves to earn her own income through subsistence farming. She has been in the poultry business for over three years now. Her income through selling chickens has helped her tremendously financially. She lives in the remote village outside of Kimbe town.

Everyday people come to her to purchase chicken. All that she earns helps her to cater for her household needs and expand her business to one day build a larger building to increase her inventory.

Since she is starting to grow more and increase the volume of her stock, she is requesting a loan to pay for chicken feed and more day-old chicks.

This loan is special because:

It promotes financial independence for marginalized women entrepreneurs.
