A loan helped me promote the first Latino Business Accelerator in New York.

Liliana's story

I am a Colombian with a trajectory of more than 30 years of experience as a businesswoman. As an immigrant, I have walked through a path that has enriched me, not only as a person but has allowed me to show myself as a leader and model of education in the Latino community in New York City.

The ignorance about the process and requirements to start a business, the lack of reliability, the language and cultural barriers, and the lack of access to financing, among other issues, motivated me to become a business instructor in New York City. Afterward, I got my training certification with city programs and registered my company as a Women-Owned Business Enterprise at the national level.

As a business instructor, I have had the opportunity to offer my services to hundreds of Latino entrepreneur women and realize that every one of their challenges was the same as mine. Both were the ingredients that guided me to create www.empresarias100k.com in 2018.

My personal experience as a businesswoman and my challenge when striving to make my Marketing Agency successful led me to turn my mission of life into my mission and vision of the business.
