08-Linketo Group's story

These seven women are part of a group that was established in September 2018. They live in the same village and share good relationships. Their goal is to improve their living conditions as well as their community. To this end, they work in retail to achieve a certain degree of autonomy.

Madame Foulémeta, raising her hand in the photo, is the group's representative. She is 45 years old, married and the mother of three children. She has two other children in her care.

With her new loan, Foulémeta plans to buy some milk curd and bananas to resell. She will use her profits to look after her personal needs and to grow her savings.
