A loan helped to buy more foodstuffs to sell to boost her business.

Grace's story

Grace is happily married to her husband who is a driver and they share three children aged 18, 15, and 9 years old.

Her main source of income comes from running her general store. Grace enjoys her business since she is able to meet her family's needs such as rent and school fees through it. The business also impacts the community by promoting local suppliers who supply her shop.

One challenge she has faced in running her business, however, is a lack of capital to restock in order to meet demand. She kindly requests a loan to add more stock to her business to ensure that she satisfies her customers.

Her customers motivate her to look forward to each passing day as she enjoys serving and interacting with them. It is from them that she is able to generate a lot of ideas on how she can improve her business such as by diversifying her portfolio and knowing which products to include and which to remove from her shelves.

Through her profits, she will be able to pay back the loan and improve her family’s standard of living. Like any loving parent, her dream has been to see her children succeed in life, to give them a good education and she dreams to expand her business into a wholesale business.

This loan is special because:
