Dolores Jacqueline's story

Dolores Jacqueline is 58 years old, married, has 3 children, all of whom are adults and independent. Her husband is a cab driver. They live in their own house, in the city of Portoviejo which was affected by the earthquake of April 16, 2016. The city is rich in the production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruit for domestic consumption.

Dolores Jacqueline has a small grocery store at home, where she sells all kinds of products, such as rice, sugar, oils, detergents, snacks, colas, water, etc. She also provides school transportation to several children in the area, she is paid monthly for her work and on weekends she prepares special meals to order, including home deliveries.
