A loan helped to buy a smartphone to support her child's online educational needs during COVID-19.

Rohimah's story

Good day, lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Rohimah. She is thirty-nine years old and married with one son and two daughters. Rohimah runs a business selling food, and her husband is a laborer. One of her children is still in school.

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their family is the implementation of schooling from home, which uses an online system. This transition has made it difficult for their child to access course materials and send assignments to the teacher.

Therefore, Rohimah has applied for a loan of 5,700,000 IDR from KBMI at Cisoka branch to buy a smartphone to support her child's online educational needs during COVID-19. Her income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using the profits generated from her business.

Rohimah is a very hardworking mother who always strives to provide the best for her children and to improve their living conditions and create a happy life. She is very grateful for this opportunity and wants to thank all lenders.

Note: The boy in the photo is Rohimah's son.

This loan is special because:

It allows students of every economic background to pursue education.
