Gerardo is 56 years old. He is married and lives with his wife and children. The loan that he is requesting is for the maintenance of his coffee crop. He grows a variety of coffee that requires good support in order to have good production and increased earnings. For that reason, the loan is of great importance.
Gerardo has already received several FUDECOSUR loans, but this is the first Kiva loan, and he is very grateful for so much support. He has not had previous other loans with the state banks. FUDECOSUR has provided the loans with better terms and a much lower rate of interest.
