06_Nimzatt Keur Momar Group's story

This group is made up of four women who share strong bonds of solidarity and helping one another. They live in the same village and seized the opportunity to join the banc villageois when it was established in the area in July 2011. Their main activity is small business.

Javalla, standing at the far right in the photo with her hand raised, is the group representative. She is 32 years old, married, and mother of three children, including two girls. She has a small business selling fabrics. She has experience in this activity having practiced it for several years.

With this new loan, she plans to purchase fabrics (veil, damask, embroidered, and wax) to resell to her customers. With the profits, she plans to grow her business, build her savings, and meet her own needs and those of her young children.

In this group: Javalla, Diegane, Bineta, Fatou
