A loan helped to buy more piglets to raise for sale.

Mỵ's story

Mrs. Mỵ is 33 years old, married and has two children. Her family belongs to an ethnic minority in Vietnam. Their house is located in Cam Tam Commune - Cam Thuy district, a mountainous area of Thanh Hoa province. She and her husband have worked in agriculture for over 10 years. They grow paddy rice and trees, and raise cattle and poultry for sale. Their income is unstable because of the weather and lacking capital.

Ms. My proposed to borrow this first loan cycle from Thanh Hoa Microfinance Institution for the purpose of buying more piglets to raise for sale. Then she will use the income to repair the farm and buy more piglets. In the future, she hopes for her children to study well and that her products can be sold at high prices.

This loan is special because:

It supports women from ethnic communities and single parent families.
