Fuentes De Agua Viva Group's story

Rosa is 33 years old, married, and the mother of two children. She lives in the community of Vigía Norte in the municipality of Quilali. She has been the owner of a grocery store for more than 11 years. She also has other income from selling clothing and growing basic grains on a small plot of land.

She requests a loan from Fundenuse with Kiva funds to buy groceries such as rice, sugar, soap, oil, household cleaning products, bread, juice, etc. She also is going to invest in merchandise like clothing and shoes. With the previous loan, she obtained good profits. Now she has more customers and so she needs to buy more products to satisfy her clientele.

She belongs to the solidarity group “Fuentes de Agua Viva” with Ancelmo and Melvin who do the same work.
