A loan helped a member to buy animal feed, veterinary medicines, and to build a kennel to house animals.

Comerciantes Do Futuro Group's story

Yobettsy is the one in the photo with a gray blouse. She is a foreigner and fled Venezuela about ten years ago, establishing herself in Brazil with her husband and three children.

In the beginning, she started in the food business, serving typical dishes from her country of origin. With the pandemic, Yobettsy had to close her business. Spending more time at home, she began to give shelter to some abandoned animals, and there she saw an opportunity to change fields. At first, she began to give baths and daily walks to neighborhood animals.

Today, Yobettsy specializes in this area and dreams of opening a pet shop with all the products and specialized services for animals. She has been a client of the Banco do Povo for around three years and will use the loan to buy animal feed and veterinary medicines, and to build a kennel.

The group is grateful to the investors.
