Lịch's story

Lịch is 48 years old, widowed, and has two children. Her family is a part of an ethnic minority in Vietnam. Lịch and her family live in the town of Ngoc Lac, which is in Ngoc Lac District, a mountainous area of Thanh Hoa Province.

Her family generates income from their farm where she grows rice and vegetables. She also raises cattle and poultry. Her family is classified as a low-income household in their town.

One difficulty that concerns her family is having an old latrine that is in disrepair. Lịch is requesting her second loan from Thanh Hoa Microfinance Institution in order to build a new toilet facility for her family so that they can have better living conditions.

In the future, Lịch hopes for her family to be healthy and to do well in her work.
