A loan helped a member to stock up on pagnes in bulk, which will increase her starting capital.

Yesu Anaweza Sg Group's story

Mrs. MUHINI is a client of IMF Hekima and presides over the groupe villageois “YESU ANAWEZA.” She is a 45-year-old married mother of eight, all of whom go to school. Her partner is a mason.

She sells diverse products in her shop, a business she started 12 years ago with funds received from her husband. Later, she incorporated the Hekima program to support her business, which progressively grew. With this new loan, she is going to stock up on pagnes [traditional cloths] in bulk, which will increase her starting capital. Her business has no problems.

She would like for her children to continue their studies and for her to feed her family. At last, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for their support of unmonetizable business owners during this global crisis linked to COVID-19. The photo is of only the group leader because of COVID-19 out of respect for social distancing measures.

In this group: Birego, Bulere, Muhini, Kalekuzi, Shangi
