A loan helped to purchase the ACE One hybrid energy system for cooking, lighting and charging in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Paleo's story

Paleo is a 56 year old man who lives in a separated hut, without access to electricity, with 5 other family members including 4 children. Paleo relies on commercial farming but struggles with unreliable income and buying multiple fuels. He spends the most amount of his energy expenses on wood and corn cobs, which he collects. He also spends as much as 3 hours per day, gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone charging. Paleo bought the ACE 1 cookstove to help him and his family save the money and time spent every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE 1 clean cook-stove is biomass and solar-powered. For more information on the ACE1 cook stove please visit www.africancleanenergy.com and Facebook @African Clean Energy
