I built and operated Mobile Selfie Factory Atlanta with my wife, Holli. Though we found each other after being born in separate countries, we quickly realized we had several passions in common. Among those common passions were a love for all things art, photography, and entertainment.
Before meeting my wife, I previously owned and operated a successful music & videography studio, while Holli ran a successful photography business. Deciding how to use these passions together has been a work in progress for several years. We are an interactive photo gallery and social media content-creating studio that comes to the customer or their event. Our guests can take unlimited photos and videos utilizing our 15+ unique backdrops that feature a variety of artwork, iconic pop culture imagery, and interactive props. We operate out of a 26-foot, fully customized, temperature-controlled trailer.
My wife and my common passions of all things art, photography, and entertainment are ultimately the catalysts for the development and creation of this business. We began our journey late in 2021 with a grand opening celebration in March 2022. We have had the opportunity to celebrate birthdays, school events, festivals, and various other social gatherings. We are committed to helping our clients create unforgettable experiences for their guests and keeping smiles on their faces.
What is the purpose of this loan?
This loan will allow us to improve our current marketing plan to expand and reach more clients. We want to generate ads that target clients explicitly looking for party and event rental services.
It will also allow us to create more interactive backdrops for seasonal changes and purchase photo booth equipment to improve our overall customer experience. Specifically, we would like to purchase a 360-degree photo booth and camera to add to our available services. Ultimately and long term, we see our business progressing towards offering franchise opportunities in other major cities across the US.

Fixed: the total loan amount must be raised in order for funds to be sent to the Lending Partner. If the loan is not funded in full within the fundraising period, the loan will expire and any funds raised will be returned to lenders' Kiva accounts.
Flexible: any funds raised within 30 days will be passed along to the Lending Partner facilitating the loan and they will come up with other sources of funding to cover the rest of the loan amount.
What does "Partner covers currency loss" mean & how could it affect my Kiva loans?
When lending internationally, the local currency in a borrower's country may lose some of its value compared to the US dollar -- requiring the partner to use more of its local currency to repay Kiva in USD. We offer some Lending Partners the option to protect themselves against currency fluctuations by choosing to pass on these losses to Kiva lenders. By bearing this risk, lenders protect the partner and its borrowers from catastrophic currency devaluations and contribute to the sustainability of their operations.
Potential for currency exchange loss is noted on every loan profile under the loan details:
"Yes" means the Lending Partner will cover any currency loss. Lenders will not bear losses due to currency fluctuation
"Partial" means that the Lending Partner has opted to cover losses only up to 10%. If the U.S. dollar appreciates more than 10% against the local currency, those losses will be passed onto lenders.
