Frankie's story

I struggled with acne at an early age resulting in low self-esteem and constantly looking for products that ultimately didn't work. After undergoing a significant bout of acne during my second pregnancy, I struggled with finding safe and effective products that I could use while nursing and geared toward my skin-specific needs.

To no avail, I was left with the only option of do-it-yourself care with natural, plant-based ingredients. This guided me into skincare, and in 2020 I decided to share what I've learned and created products focusing on the needs of women of color who are often left with few safe options. I decided that with non-toxic and pure ingredients, I could create a space for women with melanin-rich skin without compromising their health.
