A loan helped to buy firewood for her food business.

Concepción's story

Concepción is an ambitious and hardworking woman who is 29 years of age. She is in a relationship and lives in a warm place known as Cantón Rio Tarro.

Three years ago, Concepción started a small business of selling tamales made with rice, tomato sauce, and meat. She is happy that she has been able to gain recognition in her community during this time. In addition, the profits from her business enable her to cover her personal expenses and those of her family.

One of her goals for this year is to continue building a better future. Concepción approached ADICLA to request a loan so that she can buy firewood in order to make her delicious tamales and chuchitos [tamales made with potatoes instead of corn].
