A loan helped to buy more boxes of strawberries to sell.

Maria Juana's story

Maria Juana is 44 years old. She is married and has three children. She lives with her husband in an indigenous community in the municipality of La Esperanza, Intibucá. She is in the business of buying and selling high quality strawberries. She sells in the local market. She has been doing this activity for 28 years, and it has allowed her to develop a large clientele who seek her product.

Maria is asking for a loan in the amount of 11,000 lempiras to buy more boxes of fresh strawberries wholesale to later sell. This will help her to improve her earnings and to have enough inventory for her sales. Her goals is to buy a motorcycle for one of her children to get to school on.
