A loan helped a member to stock up on oil and 40 sacks of rice, which will strengthen her initial capital.

Ushindi2 Group's story

Madame Ange is a client of the Hekima IMF and president of the "Ushindi 2" village group. She is married, 39 years old and the mother of three children who are all in school. Her partner is a driver.

Ange sells various foods. She started this business 10 years ago with startup funds from her husband. Later on she joined the Hekima program to support her business, and has evolved progressively since. With this new loan, she will buy a supply of oil and 40 sacks of rice, which will strengthen her initial capital. Her business does not encounter any issues.

She would like for her children to continue their studies, and to develop her business. Finally, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they bring to business owners who are not bankable due to the global Covid-19 crisis. The photo only features the group leader due to Covid-19 social distancing measures.

In this group: Ange, Merida, Feza, Marie Jeanne, Regine, Jeannette, Esperance, Nyongolo, Martha, Pascaline, Suzane, Bazibuhe, Amuli, Mulindwa
