05-Daba Group's story

This group of women was established in November 2012. They live in the same town and enjoy very strong links through relatives and solidarity. Their main activity is trading.

Owing to Covid -19, Daba, as the group's representative, is alone in the photo. She is 48 years old, married and mother to five girls. She is an active trader.

With this loan she is planning to buy a large quantity of food products; afterwards she will sell her produce at the local market at a good price, hoping to increase her income.

With the profits she is planning to boost her savings and is also counting on helping her husband to provide for the family's needs (food, healthcare and the children's schooling).

In this group: Daba, Ndeye Leyti, Aida, Sira, Ndeye Astou, Fatou, Baty, Penda, Khadidiatou, Fadima, Fatou, Aissatou
