The women's group was formed in November 2012. The women live in the same neighborhood and share strong bonds of solidarity and kinship. Their main business activity is trading.
Due to Covid-19, SOW, the group representative is featured in the image. She is 47 years old. She is married and has five children, one of whom is a girl. She is a trader.
With the loan, she will buy several pairs of pants and shirts in bulk. She will then resell the goods at the local market at a good price, hoping to make a good profit.
With the revenue earned, she plans to add on to her savings and be able to help her husband meet their family's needs (food, healthcare, and her children's school fees).
