Patricia's story

Patricia is a 45 year-old woman who is married with seven children, and they live in a community in Honiara, capital of Solomon Island.

Patricia runs a poultry business farming chickens to sell their meat and eggs in her community and at the market to earn a living. She has been in this business for four years.

Patricia has requested a new loan to pay for additional chickens to increase her stock and assist her in running her business.

She will use her profits to meet her family's financial needs and grow her business.

She joined SPBD in 2020.
