A loan helped to purchase organic fertilizers and fungicides that will strengthen her coffee production.

Alix's story

Alix is a young agriculturist from Pitalito, Huila, with more than fifteen years of experience in the field. She currently owns more than five thousand coffee plants, which she staggers in different stages across her two-hectare terrain. Besides her coffee production, Alix also has plantain trees, a secondary crop that produces more than 280 kilograms a month. Both of Alix crops guarantee a sustainable source of income for her family.

Alix is a single mom who lives with her two daughters in a house that she purchased more than ten years ago. Her children are attending the local primary school.

A loan of $4,365,246 COP helps Alix to purchase organic fertilizers and fungicides that will help her strength her coffee production for the upcoming semester harvest.
