Mirriam's story

Mirriam is a 44-year-old woman who is a widow with four children, and they live in a community outside Honiara, capital of Solomon Island.

She has a poultry business, farming chickens and selling the meats and eggs in her community and at the market to earn a living. She has been in this business for three years.

Mirriam has requested a loan to pay for additional day-old chicks, broiler starter, finisher, feeders, and drinkers to assist her in running her business.

She will use her profits to meet her family's financial needs and improve her business.

She joined SPBD in 2022.
