A loan helped to buy the necessary equipment to do the jobs, obtain larger projects and grow as a company.

Jesus's story

I am a Latino License Dwelling Contractor in the state of Wisconsin. Both of my parents are from Mexico, they brought me when I was eleven years old for the American Dream. In my journey of living the American Dream I have learned that without hard work you will not go anywhere. This is why I decided to continue my education and graduated from Marquette University.
I also have Dwelling Contractor Certification, Dwelling Contractor Qualifier Certification, Home Improvement Contractor License and Lead Supervisor Certification.

I started working in this industry when I was 22 years old, from the bottom of the ladder. Working for a roofing company my job was to pick up all the debris from the tear off and take all the material on top of the roof. This has taught me that how important each crew member is in a company—understanding all of the roles, from the crew member that will do small tasks all the way to the project manager. This has given me the knowledge needed to provide the best customer service and the employees the best working environment.

All companies start somewhere, and I started working on my goal of having my own construction company ten years ago, putting myself in a very physical jobs and also going to school and learning the tools that will help me succeed. This is not only about me obtaining this opportunity, but this will also bring opportunities to other people in my community and also provide a better future to them and their families. I plan to create opportunities for others and help people like myself with their goals.
